His Peace

Isaiah 26:3-4

Amplified Bible (AMP)
3You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.
    4So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].

It seems that the Lord keeps talking with me about peace lately...HIS peace. Sometimes it's hard for us to have peace with all the stuff that goes on around us and with us. But...we can always have an inner peace if we keep focusing on JESUS and all that HE means. HE is our Rock and we can lean on HIM no matter what.

One passage of scripture that speaks peace to me is...

Psalm 23

New Living Translation (NLT)
1 The LORD is my shepherd;
      I have all that I need.
 2 He lets me rest in green meadows;
      he leads me beside peaceful streams.
    3 He renews my strength.
   He guides me along right paths,
      bringing honor to his name.
 4 Even when I walk
      through the darkest valley,[a]
   I will not be afraid,
      for you are close beside me.
   Your rod and your staff
      protect and comfort me.
 5 You prepare a feast for me
      in the presence of my enemies.
   You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
      My cup overflows with blessings.
 6 Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me
      all the days of my life,
   and I will live in the house of the LORD
      forever.

This is good because this is the second time I went to a persons blog and they blog the same thing I know God is trying to tell us something and we are surely listening. AMEN

Hi Chelle,
That is the key; keeping our eyes on Jesus. Faith, fact, feelings. We have faith that Jesus' words are true. We read the fact in the Bible, then we rely on our feelings to line up with the fact and the faith.

I am a real feeling type of person and my feelings always seem to get in the way. This was really hard for me until I was at a prophetic conference and I had many different people at different times tell me about this 'gift' I have. I am so very sensitive that often I pick up on other people feelings or feel things in the spirit world. It is a great gift but needs to be reigned in and put in alignment with God because our enemy likes to manipulate us by our feelings.

Just from reading your blog I am wondering if you have this same gift. You can feel like a turbulent wave when you are around people. Once you realize that this turbulence is either the other persons emotions or an attack from the spirit world, then you can gain control and separate yourself from it. Takes lots of prayer, reading God's word to know the fact and totally relying on and looking to Jesus.

Continuing to pray for Wayne.
