Victory Through Choice

I have victory through choice...

Today has been such a great day. At first I wasn't too sure how it was going to go but...so far I'm liking it! Lately my days haven't been so good but I know that I'm too blame. We all make choices and how we handle what happens in our lives is a choice. For a few weeks now I have been failing in the choice department. I have been choosing to feel bad...stressed, and sick because of it...defeated...depressed...just downright, all over, unhappy!!! I could go on about all the stuff that my choice did to me...but why?! The important thing is...

Today I choose to make a different choice. Today I choose to live like the Lord intends for me to live. Joyful...Happy...Encouraging...Loving...full of Faith...full of Hope...full of Grace for those that do things that effect me or people I love negatively...and hopefully...live so that others can see JESUS in me!

If we keep Jesus...the Light...shining brightly inside of us, then darkness won't want to stay. The darkness always tries to extinguish the Light but as I've been told countless times...tell him he has no place with me...step on his scrawny little neck and he will flee...he has too. Where the Light lives...darkness cannot stay! Amen?

Today is a good day to praise the LORD! Will you do that with me? It's your choice whether you do or not. Just let me say this...Choose today who you are going to serve. It's all up to you...

It's a choice!

Psalm 118:14

The Lord is my strength and my song;
    he has given me victory.

Psalm 118:28-29

You are my God, and I will praise you!
    You are my God, and I will exalt you!

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!
    His faithful love endures forever.

Psalm 150

Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his sanctuary;
    praise him in his mighty heaven!
Praise him for his mighty works;
    praise his unequaled greatness!
Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn;
    praise him with the lyre and harp!
Praise him with the tambourine and dancing;
    praise him with strings and flutes!
Praise him with a clash of cymbals;
    praise him with loud clanging cymbals.
Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord!

Praise the Lord!

Amen Chelle! Despite our troubles and heartaches, we CAN maintain the light of God in our hearts because we have learned to rejoice in all things and at all times. You are right; our faces should shine with the glory of God, so that we can build each other up and encourage one another.(It's so encouraging for us as well!) :)

Blessings and hugs dear friend,
Denise

Yes!! Jesus chose joy. Joy is not just a feeling but a choice that we need to make, when we choose it then the feeling come in.
