Philippians 4:8 (King James Version)
8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Another thing I have been told goes something like this..."You can't dwell on past mistakes and you can't dwell on current mistakes." I know this. Thinking of that I remembered part of another verse..."this one thing I do." Google is great to help you find the complete verse...
Philippians 3:13-14 (New Living Translation)
13 No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.Because of all of this I can see my deep need for HIM! Put the past behind and leave the devil in the dust! Turn my eyes upon Jesus and think of Him only!

Hi Chelle. You are a new creation in Christ Jesus. The devil is reminding you of your past and hurting you with any new mistakes you make(and we all make them - that is why God's mercies are new every morning Lam 3 v 22-24). Remember this: when he reminds you of your past - you remind him of his future! he is trying to get at you because you belong to God now! Remember too - condemnation is not from God, conviction is. So if you are feeling condemned, remind yourself that you are set free by Jesus' blood. Rom 8 v 1: There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus (you), who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Will be praying for you for a really good night's sleep.
God bless
Tracy
Hi Chelle,
Good post. Excited for you as the Lord takes you on His journey to show you what He has for you. The enemy is a trickster, but God is able and you will overcome. Praying you have a day full of wonder and sweet sleep tonight.
Wow, can I relate to this Chelle. Thanks for putting sleepless nights so beautifully!
