RESCUE ME

Oh Lord come down and rescue me
I need You more right now
My mind is running to and fro
I need Your peace somehow

Please help me find the stillness
Of Your quiet calm tonight
Please come down and touch me
Just take me out of the fight

There seems to be a battle
It's raging in my soul
I've tried to calm the fear
It's still running out of control

What should I do right now
Where do I plead my case
The devils running rampant
The mind's a horrible place

I've been this way before
With all the pain and fear
Lots of twists and turns
I've got to keep JESUS near

The only thing to do
Is pray and pray some more
Ask GOD to give HIS peace
And to close the other door

There is comfort freedom and liberty in GOD and when I read this post I have found myself in this same place before it's not new to me but I get in a place of worship mode sometimes I have to intercede until I press through it. And i will stay there till that break through comes. Stay strong Chelle He's there right beside you, draw closer to Him. He loves you.

Hi Chelle - love the sentence, the only thing to do is pray and pray. Amen, pray and pray. God hears every prayer.
God bless

I've been in a similar place, many times Chelle and it sure is a battle.

Keep pressing through, holding onto God's hand. He loves you dearly and He understands and hears every prayer and every thought.

Hi Chelle,
It sure can be a battle sometimes. I am learning that no matter what comes my way I choose to seek joy. Joy is a choice not an emotion or feeling but a focusing of the mind on what is in store for us in heaven. Pure bliss!

Lifting you up.

Dear Chelle,
Take comfort in knowing that many of us find ourselves in a place of struggle like this. Our flesh and spirit are at war against each other. Remember that Jesus is always near to us whenever we draw near to Him. And the devil will flee from us when we resist him. This is achieved only through praying God's Word as Jesus demonstrated in the wilderness. (Matt. 4:1-11)

~Praying for blessing and strength in Jesus for you~
